The CSFNSM is a research organisation located in Catania, Sicily. CSFNSM was founded in 1955 with the primary purpose of favouring and developing scientific research in all the field of Physics and in the development of the cutting-edge technologies needed to achieve these scientific goals. CSFNSM, by statute, promote a post-graduate and post-doctoral training program and is strongly committed in dissemination of scientific culture.
CSFNSM, in its more than 60 years of activity, has funded many hundreds of research fellowships in Physics and Engineering, and has played a key role as an incubator in promoting the establishment of large research infrastructures of national and international importance in Sicily.
