Opening Meeting of the Project; hosted by project partner Newark School; started with the participation of 7 project partners from Malta, Italy, Estonia, Portugal, Germany and Turkey.
Meeting Programme; meeting partners, introducing schools and institutions in 20-minute presentations, It consisted of the following headings: project management, implementation, LTTA dates, dissemination, review and discussion of duties and responsibilities in line with the project form. Apart from the meetings, the participants saw all the historical and cultural beauties of the capital Valletta and the prehistoric temples of Hagar Qim. (The Site has one of the oldest man- made structures in the world. The group recognized the efforts of the Maltese government to protect this heritage site from environmental damage caused by acid rain and pollution. The meetings ended with the certificate ceremony.
